Serratedimage.com - Information
All the images on this website have been taken by Angus Leadley Brown. I use a Seitz Roundshot Panoramic camera adapted to operate as a synchroballistic camera. The camera uses medium format film producing stunning detail even in fast moving subjects. Synchroballistic photography (also known as a strip or streak photography) is a technique used to photograph fast moving subjects by moving the film during the exposure past a narrow slit. The image projected on the film does not reveal the subject completely at any instant like a normal camera, but instead progressively as an analogue sequence over time. The resulting images are temporal, showing a period of time at a point in space.
Images on this site are available to purchase in limited editions as archival ink-jet prints.
